Information for Year One
PE Days
Please send your child to school in their PE kit on the following days:
Otters: Tuesday and Thursday
Hedgehogs: Tuesday and Thursday
Owls: Tuesday and Friday
Woodland Visits
From January, Hedgehogs and Owls classes will visit the woodland on Mondays and Otters class will visit the woodland on Wednesdays . Please send in wellies/suitable footwear. Thank you.
Reading Books
Children will have been sent home with their first 2 reading books of the year. Please could you read with your child every day and record this in their reading record diary.
Books are to be back in school every Wednesday so new books can be issued to go home on Thursday.
We look forward to hearing all about their fantastic reading.
Library Books
All year 1 classes will have a library session every week and will choose a book to take home. Please return the book the following week so that your child can choose a new book. Thank you.
