Our ethos at Holmesdale Community Infant and Nursery School puts children at the heart of our learning community; we look to develop the whole child and our school is one in which every person matters. As part of our Year 2 transport topic, Mrs Poortman, who has an important role at Gatwick Airport, visited to share how the airport operates and how different types of transport work together. The children learned how many planes can be accommodated at the airfield and enjoyed trying out arm signals to guide a plane to park.
