Holmesdale Community Infant School and Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff, volunteers and families to share this commitment.

This means that we have a Child Protection Policy and procedures in place. The Policy is available to download below, as well as in the 'Polices' section under the ‘Our School' tab.

We have a comprehensive Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy in place, along with established procedures that all staff (including supply staff, volunteers and governors) are made aware of. All staff are DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) checked to ensure they have no criminal convictions that would prevent them from working with children. Parents and carers are welcome to review the policy upon request.

If you have any safeguarding concerns about a pupil at Holmesdale Community Infant School, please contact our safeguarding leads by email on dsl@holmesdale.surrey.sch.uk or via the office team.
